Welcome
The Canadian Society for Social Development (CSSD) is a federally incorporated non-profit with charitable status. Our services are available online across Canada. Our mandate is to:
- provide employment and skills training to persons facing barriers to employment: persons with disabilities, aboriginals, youth, the unemployed, stay-at-home parents, and individuals living in rural areas; and
- conduct research for the development of programs in the areas of entrepreneurship, leadership, and distance learning.
CSSD is Looking for Students...
- Who have an interest in becoming self employed
- Who already have some basic computer skills
- Who find it difficult to work outside their homes
- Who are unable to attend regular scheduled training programs in their communities
- Who have a desire to learn and strive for their own independence

CSSD will provide Internet-based entrepreneurial training and will enhance employability for persons experiencing barriers to employment.
